چکیده
The innovation of this investigation is fins arrangement effects on Al2O3-water Nano fluid natural convection in a partially divided cavity for energy storage systems and cooling radioactive waste containers. Simulation velocity temperature fields done based the Lattice Boltzmann Model using D2Q9 D2Q5 methods, respectively. Streamline, isotherm, Nusselt number, have been studied different shapes fins. In investigation, we surveyed 4 shape that arranged three cases; case 1: yL=0.25 L, yR=0.75 2: yL=0.5 yR=0.5 L Case 3: yL=0.75 yR=0.25 L. results illustrated, assuming base case, so with changing rate percentage average number cavities rectangular, circle, vertical horizontal Ellipse were %26, %8, %4 Furthermore, to these percentages %62, %24, %14 %22.

The Effects of an Imposed Magnetic Field on Natural Convection in a Tilted Cavity with Partially Active Vertical Walls:Numerical Approach
The effect of imposed magnetic field on natural convection in a tilted cavity with partially active walls was investigated numerically. The active part of the right side wall was at a higher temperature than the active part of the left side wall and were moving on vertical walls relative to each other. The top, the bottom and the remaining parts of the side walls were insulated. The magnetic fi...

The buoyancy-driven fluid flow and heat transfer in a square cavity with partially active side walls filled with Cu-water nanofluid is investigated numerically. The active parts of the left and the right side-walls of the cavity are maintained at temperatures Th and Tc, respectively, with Th>Tc. The enclosure’s top and bottom walls, as well as, the inactive parts of its side walls are kept insu...
متن کاملInvestigation of Natural Convection in a Vertical Cavity Filled with a Anisotropic Porous Media
In present paper, a numerical analysis for a rectangular cavity filled with a anisotropic porous media has been studied. It is assumed that the horizontal walls are adiabatic and impermeable, while the side walls of the cavity are maintained at constant temperatures and concentrations. The buoyancy force that induced the fluid motion are assumed to be cooperative. In the two extreme cases o...
متن کاملFree Convection of Power-Law Liquids in Partially Filled Containers
Free convection of power-law liquids in partially filled two-dimensional square containers in upright position is investigated numerically, using a finite element method. Different but constant temperatures are imposed on the container’s side walls; its bottom face is insulated while the liquid body’s free surface is subjected to convective cooling. Flow velocity and heat transfer rates at the ...
متن کاملNatural Plant Selection for Radioactive Waste Remediation
Phytoremediation of radioactive waste is a process that uses plants to remove, transfer, or immobilize radionuclides from the contaminated soil, sediment, sludge, or water, and it is a useful method for treating large-scale low-level radionuclide contamination. However, there have not been established criteria which can be utilized to screen out suitable plant species that are capable of remedi...
